Precautions for use:

• Always inspect the appliance before using it and check that the cutting head is free from hair, debris, etc.
• Use on clean, dry, tangle-free hair.

Lubrication instructions :

• To maintain optimum cutting performance, it is highly recommended to oil the blades after each use.
• When using the lubricating oil for the first time, unscrew the cap and cut the end of the plastic tube with scissors.
• Remove the protective cover from the blade to turn on the shaver.
• Hold the razor at a 45° angle. Squeeze the tube of lube lightly and apply 2 drops of oil directly to the blades.
• Leave the razor to work for a few seconds, in order to allow the oil to spread over the whole
• length of the blades.
• Before any use on the hair, switch off the razor and remove excess oil, gently drying the blades using a towel.

Cutting height adjustment lever :

• The lever allows you to perfect the cutting height with maximum precision.
• To raise the height of cut and get a longer cut, slowly push the lever down.
• To lower the height of cut for a shorter cut, push the lever up.

Instructions for Use:
Charge the razor

• Before using the shaver for the first time, it must be charged for at least 3 hours straight. The battery reaches its maximum performance only after 3 discharge and recharge cycles. Connect the charging socket of the adapter to the mains. The red light starts flashing. Flashes continuously until charging is complete. When charging is complete, the indicator light stops flashing and stays solid.

WARNING : check that the shaver is switched off (0) before placing it on the base.

• When the battery runs out, the indicator light starts flashing. It means that there are about 3 minutes of autonomy left. A 3-hour charge ensures about 2 hours of use without connection to the mains. A 30-minute charge ensures approximately 30 minutes of use without plugging into the mains.
• If the indicator light starts flashing rapidly (more than 4 times per second), there is a problem with the appliance. In this case, switch off the shaver, unplug it from the mains and contact the after-sales service.
• Preserve batteries:
• To optimize battery life, we recommend recharging the appliance for 3 hours every 3 months.
• Using the shaver without plugging it in: check that the shaver is switched off. Connect it to the mains, then wait about 1 minute before putting it into operation.

IMPORTANT : do not use the razor connected to the mains for more than 20 minutes at a time.
Before switching on the shaver, lubricate the blades with the supplied BaBylissPro lubricating oil.
Don't forget to tighten the screws after aligning the blades.

Cleaning and maintenance :

• To continue working in optimal condition, the shaver must be cleaned after each use.
• Remove hair residue from the blades by blowing the cleaning brush provided.
• Remove the cutting guide from the shaving head. The cutting guides can be rinsed under running water. Before any reuse or storage, check that they are dry.
• Lubricate the blades after each use to maintain the optimum level of cutting performance.
