Instructions for Use:
IMPORTANT : CHARGE

First use:

• The FX775E is easy to use, but you must first charge it for 3 hours before first use. The initial full charge ensures optimum performance and power for future use. After the first initial charge of 3 hours, the time for subsequent full recharges will be only 90 minutes. The battery capacity will only reach its maximum level after 3 charge/discharge cycles.
• Connect the adapter to the socket located behind the charging base.
• Then connect the adapter to the network.
• When the device is charging, the blue light flashes until charging is complete.
• When the battery is fully charged, the indicator light stops flashing and becomes solid.
• Normal charge:
• A full charge lasts approximately 90 minutes and supplies the energy needed for at least 60 minutes of continuous cordless use.
• When the battery is almost empty, the indicator light starts flashing signaling the need to charge the device.
• To keep the rechargeable batteries at an optimum capacity level, it is recommended that you charge the appliance for 3 hours approximately every 3 months.
• The FX775E device is equipped with fast charging. A 5-minute recharge will provide enough energy for approximately 3 minutes of use.
• A full charge takes about 90 minutes.

Before using the appliance :

• Always check the appliance before use and make sure that the cutting head is free from hair or debris, hair or debris of any kind and is working properly.

Operation :

• To start the FX775E, press the start/stop button; the blades then engage and the selected height-of-cut indicator light comes on. The locking/unlocking indicator light stays on and the symbol indicates that the cutting height adjustment wheel is locked or unlocked. To switch off the machine, press the start/stop button again; the engine stops and the warning lights will go out 5 seconds later.

Using the cutting height adjustment wheel :

• Make sure the Cut Guide is positioned correctly. To do this, press the top down.
• Rotate the wheel to the right or left to adjust the cutting guide to the desired height.
• Cutting heights are displayed in mm, from 1mm to 15mm in 1mm increments.
• Select the desired cutting height, the value in mm remains displayed.
• After selecting the cutting height, it is advisable to lock the adjustment to prevent mishandling during cutting (refer to the paragraph «Using the cutting height locking system»).
• Press the start/stop switch to start the FX775E.
• If you try to adjust the cutting height with the lock activated, the relevant light symbol flashes for 10 seconds until the lock function is deactivated.

Useful tips :

• Use on clean, dry beard/hair.
• If possible, when using for the first time, let the hair grow for a few days before cutting it. This will give better results as the hair will be thicker.
• Adjust the cutting height as desired.
• It is always preferable to first leave a length greater than the desired one to shorten it after the second pass.
• Place over hair, with the serrated section of the cutting guide up and flat on the face.
• Gradually move up through the beard in the opposite direction of hair growth.
• Not making forced passes works much better if you go at the pace. You may encounter a slight resistance in the neck area, where the hair is stiffer and grows in various directions. It's absolutely normal.
• As with shaving, pay particular attention to the passage in the neck area as the hair grows in various directions.
• Do not turn off when it is still in the beard.
