Precautions for use:

• Always check the appliance before use and ensure that the cutting head is free of hair, debris, etc.
• Use on clean, dry, and tangle-free hair.

Lubrication instructions:

• To maintain optimal cutting performance, it is highly recommended to oil the blades after each use.
• When using the lubricating oil for the first time, unscrew the cap and cut the end of the plastic tube with scissors.
• Remove the protective blade cover to turn on the shaver.
• Hold the shaver at a 45° angle. Gently squeeze the lubricating oil tube and apply 2 drops of oil directly onto the blades.
• Let the shaver run for a few seconds to allow the oil to spread over the entire length of the blades.
• Before any use on hair, turn off the shaver and remove excess oil by gently wiping the blades with a cloth.

Cutting height adjustment lever:

• The lever allows for perfecting the cutting height with maximum precision.
• To increase the cutting height and achieve a longer cut, slowly push the lever downwards.
• To decrease the cutting height and achieve a shorter cut, push the lever upwards.

Instructions for use:
Charging the shaver

• Before using the shaver for the first time, it must be charged for at least 3 consecutive hours. The battery only reaches its maximum performance after 3 discharge and recharge cycles. Connect the adapter's charging plug to the mains. The red indicator light will start to flash. It flashes continuously until charging is complete. Once charging is complete, the indicator light stops flashing and remains steady.

WARNING: make sure the shaver is switched off (0) before placing it on the stand.

• When the battery is low, the indicator light will start to flash. This means there are approximately 3 minutes of battery life remaining. A 3-hour charge provides approximately 2 hours of cord-free use. A 30-minute charge provides approximately 30 minutes of cord-free use.
• If the indicator light starts to flash rapidly (more than 4 times per second), it means the appliance has a problem. In this case, turn off the shaver, unplug it from the mains, and contact customer service.
• Battery preservation:
• To optimize battery life, it is recommended to recharge the appliance for 3 hours every 3 months.
• Using the shaver without mains connection: ensure the shaver is switched off. Connect it to the mains, then wait approximately 1 minute before operating it.

IMPORTANT: do not use the shaver connected to the mains for more than 20 minutes continuously.
Before switching on the shaver, lubricate the blades with the supplied BaBylissPro lubricating oil.
Don't forget to tighten the screws after aligning the blades.

Cleaning and maintenance:

• To continue functioning in optimal conditions, the shaver must be cleaned after each use.
• Remove hair residue from the blades by blowing with the supplied cleaning brush.
• Remove the comb guide from the shaving head. The comb guides can be rinsed with running water. Before any reuse or storage, ensure they are dry.
• Lubricate the blades after each use to maintain optimal cutting performance.
