The much loved Shampure aroma was formulated in 1989 in Aveda's Botanical Aroma Lab using aromalogy®. Aromalogy® is a science unique to Aveda explains Guy Vincent, Aveda head perfumer.
The result obtained from the combination of fragrance, the art of creating a pleasant fragrance, and aromatherapy, the practice of using essential oils for therapeutic purposes. The Shampure aroma is the combination of a blend of 25 pure flower and plant essences, including organic lavender from Bulgaria and ylang ylang from Madagascar. The flowers are hand-picked at dawn to ensure the high potency of their essential oils. Other aromatic and calming essences present are chamomile and petit grain. Final result: a feeling of calm and well-being.
For best results it is recommended to use Aveda Shampure Hand & Body Wash on damp skin and then rinse. After drying the skin, apply Shampure Body Lotion with circular movements.
